MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness – we hear about it and read about it, but what does it really mean for us as individuals, and why is it essential?

Mindfulness or being mindful is really about being aware and focused without distraction. The constant stream of tiny little distractions on our multiple devices such as the constant dings on our mobile phones telling us another email came in or that someone posted on their Insta, reminders from our digital assistants, and the online schooling and working from home means that we find ourselves always doing something or getting ready to do the next thing, and not enough time to just simply breathe, plan strategically and execute plans well. We are constantly in survival mode when we should be in THRIVE mode.

You run yourself ragged with the constant demands and in the end, you are a sad, grey shadow of yourself instead of the whole, shining, and strong version of yourself that you should be.
